scuba camp itinerary
The scuba camp consists of diving as well as non-diving activities which are scheduled during the weeklong camp. The basic one week camp includes learning to dive, learning about the environment and nature as well as choosing an activity of interest such as sailing. Subsequent weeks build on an individual's diving knowledge as well as including time for another activity of choice.
Below is a basic itinerary of weeks 1-3 showing scheduling for diving and other activities.

overview of diving packages
All diving courses are organised differently with some courses having a classroom component and some involving just diving. We have explained below briefly how we organise the most popular courses.
The normal path of progression within the PADI system starts with the Open Water course which builds a basic foundation of knowledge. Following this is the Advanced course which offers a chance to experience one of the many interesting areas of diving.
Following the Advanced course, an individual can choose to complete the Rescue diver course or pursue specific specialty courses in areas of interest. We are very flexible and can usually accommodate most requests. If you would like to pursue specialty courses in place of choice activities then please just ask us what we can schedule for you.
Introductory Diving Experiences
The PADI experience diving programs, Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba Diver are 1 day experiences that do not lead to a certification card. The experience consists of completing 2 dives with a PADI Instructor. An individual can choose to do 3 days from a PADI Experience diving program instead of undertaking the PADI Open water course.
There is some paperwork to complete when undertaking a PADI Experience diving program and a thorough briefing from the instructor about some basic rules of diving but no actual classroom work to complete. For more information on this course please click here.

PADI Specialty Courses
The length of the specialty depends upon which course is being completed but generally most specialty courses are 1 or 2 days.
Most specialty courses involve 1 or 2 days diving from the speedboat at a variety of different locations. Occasionally we conduct some specialty courses from the beach if there is clear benefit of doing so.
