Thursday 21th Jan 2010 Samui Weather report
Today was Hot! The wind has definately dropped and the air temperature has risen well above previous days.
The diving conditions at Chumphon pinnacle was amazing. The water temp was 28 Deg today so nice and warm. The water visibility at Chumphon has increased and is now around 25m. Today I did a multilevel and computer dive which saw us drop to the bottom for our first level. Down in the depths were loads of Bull sharks today. They approached to within a few meters and some looked well over 8ft long!
Barracuda point was where all the fish were to be found today. Large shoals of Barracuda and Jacks were there along with dense shaols of Fusiliers.
The second dive site was Twins which had rubbish visibility. The water was milky and full of plankton but there were loads of fish around the site.

The weather is finally on the change and today we saw some great sun. The wind has also died down and the size of the waves has dropped considerably to less than 1 meter.
The diving conditions were average today with the exception of Chumphon pinnacle where diving was great. The water temp was 28 Deg today so nice and warm. Today we took the speedboat to Chumphon pinnacle off Koh Tao and dived with loads of big bull sharks. I have posted some pictures although they are not too good! Not so many fish today around Chumphon but still a lovely dive with water visibility in excess of 15 meters all around the site.
Second dive today was Twins off Nan Yuan Island. The water visibility here was much reduced and we were lucky to get 5 meters by the time we hit the second rock.
